Horrific Limpopo Accident Claims 13 Lives in Minibus Taxi and Truck Crash

Thirteen people, including a young child, tragically died in a horrific collision involving a minibus taxi and two trucks on the R81 road near Ga-Sekgopo, Limpopo, on Sunday, September 28, 2025. The taxi was sandwiched between two trucks after one truck failed to brake, colliding with the taxi from behind and another truck from the front, crushing the minibus in between. All the deceased were passengers in the minibus taxi, which was returning from a church service at Solomondale to Magoro village outside Giyani. Among the victims was a child estimated to be between seven and ten years old.
